Get Back Up Again CEO and Founder, Madison Kirksey, is the first "Doing Good in Your Neighborhood" recognition program honoree!
On Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, Action News Jax Family Focus presented Madison with a $500 check donation to her nonprofit organization of Hope supporting those less fortunate in her JAX community. A sponsor, St. Augustine Beaver Creek Toyota, hosted the event.
Madison's vision at 8 years old for a school project was officially established as a nonprofit organization in 2019.
Madison is committed to doing good in her community with the encouragement, participation, and support of her mother Erica Holton, who is GBUA's CFO and President, a dedicated board of directors, tireless volunteers, and generous partners, sponsors, and donors.
Volunteer members go out every third Sunday in downtown JAX, FL, to hand out meals, clothes, shoes, hygiene bags, pillows, blankets, and snacks (weather permitting).
Madison is a straight-A honors student enrolled in an early college program. She thrives on paying it forward, and giving back, and has a promising successful future.
Her parents, family, and friends are extremely proud of her success, generosity, and passion for improving her community, especially the lives of our homeless population.
Congratulations to Madison and her organization for all they do to help the Jacksonville area!
All of us at Get Back Up Again are beyond proud of and thrilled about this well-deserved honor of our brilliant, bold, brave, and beautiful philanthropist!
You GO, girl! We are right there with you...😉👍🏼😃
